Principal's Message

Dear Lindbergh Elementary Families,

On behalf of the Lindbergh Elementary School faculty and staff and Lynwood Unified School District, it is an honor to welcome you all to the 2023-2024 school year! We are looking forward to partnering with you to ensure a well rounded education for all of our amazing students this year in grades TK-6th. Last school year we enhanced our PBIS program through implementing new programs and we SOARed to new heights both academically and socially. We were recipients of the second place district wide Kona Ice challenge through increasing our attendance. We will continue to make improving our overall school attendance rates a major focus during this school year. We also earned 1st and 3rd place in the district Mathathon competitions. We also re-established our parent volunteer opportunities. We are looking forward to planning and hosting school activities, providing workshops, and keeping our school safe through connecting with our families. Together, we will continue to work diligently to foster a nurturing school culture of collaboration, connection, respect, and trust through our strong relationship.

Attendance / Tardies and Early Dismissal
It is very important to the success of each student that they are in attendance and on time each school day. Teachers provide students with engaging and meaningful lessons every minute of the instructional day, and classes begin promptly at 8:45. Every minute counts therefore we ask that you make every effort to arrange all appointments after the school day. Many times, teachers provide valuable information regarding assignments, projects, and special events during the last few minutes of class. Please note we strongly encourage students to not be checked out of classes 30 minutes prior to the dismissal bell. If you must pick up your child early, it is very important that you arrive prior to 2:30 p.m. to check out your child early and (1:30 pm on Wednesdays).
