Principal's Message

Dear Parents, Guardians and Lynwood Community:

It is my honor and privilege as your new principal at Lindbergh Elementary and welcome you to our 2017-2018 school year! It has been a pleasure getting to know all students, parents, staff and community in a collaborative effort to provide the most successful educational environment for your children. We have an amazing staff that works tirelessly for all students to ensure Lindbergh is a High Quality School!  We, along with the Lynwood Unified School District are working constantly to provide your children with a variety of opportunities to challenge and encourage them to perform, create, collaborate and innovate by strengthening and expressing their young minds.  Through these relevant connections such as BRIDGE, Karate, PS Arts, Conga Dance, ASB Leadership, Assembly Performances, Diversity celebrations and events, Green team, Journalism and Photography team, Mathathon, AVID, Science Fair, Spelling Bee, STEM, Coding, Community and Educational field trips, Literacy Night, College and Career Campus, PBIS Frequent Flyers, Character Counts, Student of the month, Citizen of the Month, your children are well on their way in becoming well rounded, successful and productive members of society as well as meet and exceed your expectations.

As we say goodbye to 2017, we look forward to 2018 with enthusiasm and high expectations in order to finish the school year strong! We invite you to visit us and familiarize yourself with all that Lindbergh Elementary has to offer.  Our goal is to build and strengthen positive relationships with you and your child.  There are many opportunities for you to get involved directly or indirectly to support your child's education.  Please feel free to participate in our "Coffee with the Principal" reunions, Parent Council meetings and/or contact us in person, via email or by phone at any time with any questions or concerns you may have as we are here to serve you!

Lastly, I would like to thank all students, parents, staff, Lindbergh Community and the Lynwood Community for being so welcoming and supportive in transitioning as your principal and becoming a part of the Lynwood family!

I wish you and your families a healthy and prosperous 2018!

Gratefully,
Arturo Navar
